Truth Unveiled
I was in Catholicism when I first met the local churches. I never had any experience of the Lord--I didn't even know you could have experiences of the Lord. When I got introduced to “calling on the name of the Lord” it seemed like an odd thing to do since they didn't practice it in the Catholic church my parents attended, but when I opened to the book of Romans, in chapter 10, verse 13 it surely spoke about calling on the Lord. I always had the concept that if you do good, you can go to heaven, and concerning God Himself, He was only a deity to me. It never crossed my mind that you could know Him as a person. The amazing thing was that I got to experience Him in my human spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). I only knew of the Father, Son, and the Holy Ghost. But the matter of the human spirit was a foreign term to me. Coming to the Word again I saw that the Lord can get inside of my human spirit and I can contain Him and contact Him at any time. I no longer have to seek for Him--He is in my spirit. At present, I am in the Full-Time Training in Anaheim getting to know the Lord more and more. Each passing day He is new and I am joyful in Him. He is no longer an untouchable God.
